Bhangra Dance Moves
Here are five i've noticed. Am waiting for Chai, T Baji, Hbiddy, and Chan to add some more; i KNOW you guys have some funny ones in mind! And do speak up if i've nailed anyone's signature move (and i hope it's not #5).
1. Stamping out the fire: When a dancer vigorously stamps one foot up and down, frequently seen in faster songs.
2. Changing the light bulb: When a dancer raises one or both hands, cups it, and rotates it back and forth as if turning a light bulb.
3. Flight of the crane: This should be self explanatory. When a dancer extends both arms to the sides and slightly up, especially effective if he or she also raises one leg at a time, bending the raised leg at the knee. If the dancer also hops on one foot, it is called...
4. The pogo stick.
5. Finally, "Look out ladies; i'm IN DA CLUB!!" : When a male dancer enters a floor where mostly women are dancing, and starts shaking it like he's in a dance club or something.

lol, nice!! i think you got the big ones. i had always referred to 'change the light bulb' as 'picking the cherry from the tree' although that move may have a slight variation with less of a twisting motion and more of a plucking or pinching motion. is 'raising the roof' a Bhangra move or just a general catch-all dance move?
These are hilarious! Sadly, I'm a lost cause at dancing of any sort, so I have nothing to contribute here. Your "flight of the crane" description reminds me of that pivotal fight scene in The Karate Kid - that kicking move that Daniel uses to smash the heck out of the other guy. Yay!

hahahha that is totally Abu. what about the, well i don't really the name but it's when you jerk someone who is peacefully sitting on the floor clapping into the dance floor. ooh and we can call the second part "the puppet" because the person forces the innocent by stander to dance!!! what do you think?

Haha, these are all old disco moves, which I remember well, being advanced in years. Awkwardness doesn't change much with time, just the music changes :)
Good one, Baji! I forgot about Raise the Roof. Maybe that means Bobby Flay can dance bhangra...
